ROLLING is a camera monitor and remote app made by Visage Temps. The short version: ROLLING doesn't collect your data.
What we collect
Nothing. ROLLING has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Visage Temps doesn't run servers for the app and never receives your pictures, settings or usage.
What stays on your device
- Your camera list, settings and app preferences
- LUTs you import and the photo you pick for Reference, used only on your screen
- Takes and the shot log
- An event log of what the app and your cameras did, used to fix problems
This information stays on your iPhone or iPad. Deleting the app deletes it.
Your network and your cameras
ROLLING connects directly to Canon cameras on your own Wi-Fi network or over USB-C, and to other devices running ROLLING on that network. That traffic stays on your network. Nothing is sent to Visage Temps.
Permissions ROLLING asks for
- Local Network: to find and control your cameras over Wi-Fi
- Camera: to use Canon cameras plugged in over USB-C, a capture card on iPad, and this device's own camera for the Demo Camera
You can turn these off in Settings at any time. ROLLING works with what's left on.
Sending us a log
If you tap Send Log File, you choose where the log goes, for example email or AirDrop. It contains camera and app events, not pictures. Only send it to us if you want help.
Purchases
The Pro unlock is sold through Apple. Apple handles payment, and Visage Temps receives no payment details.
Children
ROLLING isn't directed at children and collects no information from anyone.
